The Tent Equipment Includes:
One Tent that can be set up three different sizes:
The tent tops are divided into sections that can be shortened or enlarged depending on the size of the estimated crowd. In tent language, it is a one pole tent, two pole tent or a three pole tent. The one pole tent is a circular tent made up of the two ends put together resulting in a 77 foot diameter round tent. The two pole tent is an oval tent made up of the two ends, with one middle section resulting in a total length and width of a 113’ x 77’. The three pole tent consists of four sections, two ends and two middles with a final length and width of a 149’x77’. {Add 14’ to width and length for stake diameter}
Capacity: One Pole: 0-200 plus, Two Pole: 300 - 800 plus, Three Pole: 1,000-1,500
Chairs: We have approximately 430 chairs. All of our chairs are the metal style chair. For larger meetings we would need to use chairs from the church or area churches.
Lighting: We have all the lighting that is necessary for each size tent and will pass city safety codes 95% of the time.
P.A. System: We have a rack unit with all sound equipment needed for each meeting. Which would also include wireless lapel, hand held mic, six corded mics and pulpit mic. With the ability to record all preaching on CD and minidisk or CD playback. The system also includes two main speakers, two monitor speakers and electric piano.
Pulpit: We have a preacher proof pulpit. That is regularly, commonly and normally “used for” and “used to” the old time Bible way of preaching.
Platform: The platform is an aluminum staging system that can be assembled different ways with a total size of 12’ deep by 24’ wide along with railing, stairs and skirting.
Altar: The altar area is a one piece carpeted area with a dimension of 12’ deep by 24’ long.
Electrical System: The electrical system includes a sub panel with sixteen duplex outlets and two hundred feet of heavy duty electrical cable. NOTE: a 50 amp service is needed for tent hook up. {Breaker box or pole etc.}
All of the tent revival equipment is transported in a FL70 Freightliner with a 24 ft. cargo box.
Revival Expenses:
With the equipment that God has provided through His people, we can bring a tent revival and team (when available) to a church at minimal cost. We do not charge a rental fee for our tent or any of our equipment, but there are a few things that I ask your church to compensate:
1. Cost of Fuel.
2. Travel Expenses for Revival Team.
3. Meals and Lodging for the Revival Team.
4. The Evangelist is paid by the offerings of the church and or offerings taken up each night of the meeting.
Many have asked me how much a tent revival would cost. We have found that most churches spend an average of $2,500.00 total on their revival expenses. This of course depends on how many preachers and or if there are singers that have been invited and also the distance the rig and revival team must travel to reach the revival destination. This estimated cost is based on revival team and Evangelist only. In today’s economy, one could not rent a tent with all the equipment offered for such a price. We come by faith on a love offering basis trusting that God will meet the needs thru the offerings of His people.
Our hearts desire is to work with local churches in revivals and church planting. The Lord has provided us with the equipment to bring a tent revival and team to any church or city that has a desire to see revival in their area for only the cost of the tent’s transportation and revival teams expenses.
This ministry is a local church ministry sent out of the Grace Baptist Church of Gaylord, Michigan, where Dr. Jon Jenkins is the pastor. These revivals are reaching sinners through preaching and soul-winning, where we preach the Saviour from the King James Bible. There will be preaching on sin, salvation, judgment, hell, the grace of God and messages that will call America back to God. The God that we preach and trust in is the God that desires to see revival among His people.
